LARSON WELLNESS CENTER
About
The Larson Recreational & Wellness Center opened at the Brookings plant in 1979. This facility boasts more than 5,000 square feet of fitness space over two levels. A Recreation Swimming Pool, two racquetball/ walleyball courts, 1 multi-activity gym, locker rooms, and a Wellness Suite featuring access to nutrition counseling, and personal trainers are all on offer in the facility.

The Rec Pool Area features a 12-person spa and Water Basketball. Children’s swimming lessons are held multiple times per year. Individual lessons for adults are available upon request.

The Wellness Suite brings together students from the SDSU Nutrition & Dietetics Program for nutrition assessments and counseling, Personal Trainers for fitness assessments and a variety of other wellness offerings.

The Larson Recreation & Wellness Center is located on the southwest corner of the Brookings Facility - Eastbrook Building. Parking is available in the employee parking lot to the west of the building.

The LARSON Recreation Center is open to all active full-time and part-time Larson Manufacturing employees, as well as their immediate family living in the same household. Employee's children who are full-time college students living on campus are eligible to use the facility as well.
​
(Extended family and children who have moved out of the employee's residence and are no longer full-time college students must be accompanied by the employee at all times.)
​
Additionally, retired Larson employees and their spouses may use the recreation center.
